Tim McCreight started Brynmorgen Press in 1981, after he'd published two books with commercial publishers. He thought he might enjoy getting involved in the design and production aspects of publishing, and apparently he was right. More than two decades later, he's still writing, designing, and illustrating books.
For many years Tim ran the company from his home while teaching full time. Recently the company moved and expanded to take on a range of editorial and consulting services. We are located in the historic Munjoy Hill section of Portland, near the famous Portland Observatory. Our name comes from the middle names of Tim and Jay's children, Johanna Bryn and Jeffrey Morgen.
